Who even uses ice cube trays any more.

Trying a new trick in the kitchen, something called “not letting perfectly good fresh herbs go to waste because I can never use two handfuls worth of dill in three days”.


Chopped herbs + olive oil + time in the freezer = perfect little flavour nuggets for tossing in the pan.

Since my dreams of having a real herb garden are gone, and I don’t see Whole Foods selling cilantro by the stem any time soon, we’ll see how this works. Dill-and-chive salad shrimp in my pasta tonight!
